The very BEST system for Canadian market data / trading is ITS Lite
By design this platform is a trade system, meaning it is used by firms for submitting orders to the market (via ITS smart order routing). However, it is possible to simply use the system for market data only. If you trade the junior market it is a must have platform. It has many advantages, including:
1. It marks iceberg orders (once they have regenerated once).
2. It has a configurable waterfall ticker which will show ALL TSX/TSXV trades over a specified volume.
3. It displays stock freeze information.
4. It displays TSX trader notes.
5. It displays all HALTS and RESUMES.
6. Its cost is comparable to other quote / trade systems.
They currently offer a CATS style system called ITS LITE and a newly release GUI based platform called TLG workstation (if used for order entry they now actually INCLUDE smart order routing in the price!).

Ah OK. I'm just on their website here. They have a bunch of different products. Which is the one that you use? ITS Trader Order Book Engine?

The website hasn't been updated in quite sometime so it doesn't have information on the trading or market data products. Although we are planning too, just alot on our plate atm.
Trying to get ready for the Vendor trade show Feb 25th in Toronto. And complete a few features on the applications to improve the trading for both Trader Lite and TLG.
My avatar doesn't give you a great picture of the Trader Lite but it does provide a glimpse of the main display.

Wow, that looks handy having streaming level2 on one screen for multiple stocks. Do you know if you put real-time sound alarms on the level2 bid and ask volumes? That would be very powerful for certain types of day-trading.
